Responsive home care
Respite & Crisis Care
Respite Care is the next best thing for you and your carer. You get looked after in your own home and can continue doing everything you usually do while your carer – a family member, friend or neighbour – has time away to relax or catch up with other things knowing that you’re in good hands.
Our care workers can stand-in for an hour or two or even live in your home to cover your carer’s holiday. They can take you out to your clubs and social events, walk your dog, clean your home, or just spend time with you.
Whatever respite care you need, our carers always come prepared to slot into your normal routine, remembering your Right to Respect every time.
Likewise with Crisis Care, we can be there at your side within 24 hours if an accident or sudden medical condition means you need our help.
Again we come ready to care, however much or how little you need us.
We support you to make life easier.
Dad’s memory is very bad, but he remembers the carers & it’s lovely to hear them chatting away & laughing.

Why so many families trust us...
Everyone's needs are different that's why we provide personalised care unique to each person. Our high quality home care is flexible when circumstances change and always delivered with compassion, dignity and respect.
We understand that home care is a big decision, so we have strict performance guidelines and are regulated by the Care Quality Commission giving you confidence that our care and support is quality assured.
Our care and support teams are carefully selected and receive excellent training through our exclusive Alina Homecare Academy. We do not use agency or freelance staff to protect our quality reputation.
Added reassurance with our new technology
We want you to be fully confident in Alina Homecare.
That’s why we use technology to enhance our service. Our carers are fully trained to record all necessary information about their visit as it happens onto a mobile device without compromising on the quality of one-to-one care delivered.
Our carers record:
• the time they arrive and leave
• if you’ve had something to eat and drink
• if you’ve taken any medication
• if you’ve gone to any appointments
• how you’re feeling
• information to ensure you’re receiving the care and support you need
This new technology is our commitment to improving quality of care and making life easier for our care teams so that they can spend more time helping you.
In a COVID world, it also plays a vital role in supporting infection control measures as carers don’t use clients phones’to login and office staff don’t have to visit to collect paperwork.
We’re proud to have partnered with Birdie Care, an innovative care technology that enables us to digitally log, track and monitor the support we provide.
The Birdie Family App allows family members to have full visibility at any time of how our care is being delivered. Safeguards are in place to protect data and prevent unauthorised access.
