Sara is a Registered Nurse with extensive clinical experience in a diverse range of health care environments, including managing Complex Care in the community, medico legal work, disability analysis, working as a Survey Nurse and various teaching roles.
Sara works closely with Alina Homecare Support Workers and other related Health Care Professionals (HCPs) towards holistic assessment of the needs of people we support. Support is offered for the development of detailed care and support plans and related risk assessments. Plans are regularly evaluated and updated to ensure the delivery of relevant, evidence-based practice which reflects the advice and guidance of related specialist HCPs.
The Clinical Lead Nurse role also includes the training and preparation of Support Workers to undertake a range of clinical tasks in the community setting. The role requires regular communication with local commissioners to ensure feedback is provided regarding support delivery and any concerns or changes in service user needs.
