Sharon has worked in a wide variety of roles within the health and social care sector for over 35 years. Sharon then studied at the Tizard Centre within the University of Kent, being awarded a Degree in Behavioural Therapy. Further roles within the NHS followed, as an Operations Manager and then as a Community Nurse.

Sharon knows that a well trained workforce is critical to ensuring people with disabilities are supported to have the best opportunities in life, so then moved into teaching and development.
