Keep safe on Bonfire night
It’s Guy Fawkes Night tonight and many people will gather for the parades, bonfires and the fireworks.
Attending professionally organised bonfire events is key as they must adhere to strict fire safety regulations and will have guided paths and safe firework viewing areas laid out.
Whether you plan on hosting your own or plan to attend a public event, here are a couple of pointers below:
- Enjoy fireworks displays from inside if you suffer from any heart conditions or respiratory problems such as asthma or bronchitis.
- Take a pair of ear defenders for noise sensitive, elderly friends and young children, so they can enjoy the fireworks without being frightened by the loud bangs.
