Sally’s sunflowers

Brighton based Care Worker Sally has grown over 70 sunflowers for colleagues and clients to find the most green-fingered who can grow the tallest sunflower this summer.

Sally said “Growing sunflowers is easy and a great way to get people interested. I’m delighted with the reaction – our clients love looking after their individual plants and it’s made a great daily talking point between Carers and clients. Everyone’s become very competitive and wants to win. For me it’s about getting everyone involved and seeing the big sunflowers which are guaranteed to make everyone smile at the end of the summer when the results will be judged.”
