Weather alert!

When winter weather strikes we have to find ways of reaching our clients who depend on us. Staff safety is our priority whilst they go about their work so it’s important to be prepared;

  1. Plan your route. Research the road conditions and traffic that you”ll face. Stay tuned to your local radio for any road closures
  2. Take a list of emergency contacts with you and let others know the routes your taking.
  3. Pack your car with a blanket, shovel a hot drink and some snacks. So, if you do break down then at least you have the essentials.
  4. Always clear snow and ice from all your windows before you drive. Drive slowly in a low gear.
  5. Always wear appropriate clothing and stay warm.
  6. If conditions worsen look for alternative transportation, car share or walk if possible.
