
Karen is an accomplished Training Manager with experience in a diverse range of Health & Social Care environments. Starting her career as a Care Coordinator, Karen worked her way up to Registered Manager where she successfully managed a Care Team serving clients with a range of complex needs, including Dementia and End of Life Care.
As a certified trainer with over five years’ proven expertise in Health & Social Care training, Karen has qualifications in a variety of areas, including safe handling of medicines, equality & diversity, dementia awareness, Palliative Care, and more. Karen holds her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People’s Services, as well as being certified in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector and Understanding Dignity & Safeguarding in Adult Health & Social Care.
Karen manages a Team of professional Trainers at the Alina Homecare Academy, offering detailed and holistic training materials. Since joining Alina Homecare in 2019, she has helped transform our training standards, implementing evidence-based training modules that have trained hundreds of Care Assistants, providing them with the correct knowledge and expertise to perform their duties. Under her supervision, training materials are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure compliance with CQC regulations and current healthcare standards.
