Young Carers Awareness Day

It’s Young Carers Awareness Day today. It highlights young carers across the country giving the recognition they deserve and support. With some carers as young as 5-10 years old, known as infant young carers, this is a serious issue. 

Last year there were a number of momentous events that took place to mark the occasion, including national media coverage and the Blackpool Tower being lit up!

This year’s focus will be on Mental Health and raising awareness.
