All our Care and Support Workers receive excellent training through our exclusive Academy to ensure they have the right skills and knowledge to provide our quality care and support services. We don’t use an agency or freelance staff to ensure we maintain our high quality reputation.

We achieve continuity of care through our professional Teams. Our highly valued Teams have access to 24/7 help and are fully supported by their experienced Managers. If there’s a change in circumstance, we work hard to ensure the same high quality care and support will still be provided.

Our Care and Support Teams have many years experience in providing carefully tailored care and specialist support. Our Teams include trained specialists who support people with different conditions and disabilities. This includes dementia, autism, Parkinson’s and Down syndrome.

MyDiary software

My Diary is an innovative software we created to monitor our care and support. With My Diary, we can:

  • Remotely monitor support – ensuring a safer environment for service users
  • Maintain transparency – recording & reporting every aspect of support
  • Ensure continuity – providing instant & constant control of support plans

Our Support Workers are thoroughly trained to use My Diary’s drag and drop system, ensuring our assistive technology enables service users to receive the highest quality support whilst remaining as independent as possible.

Support Teams can monitor progress in real time and maintain direct contact with other individuals providing support. Subject to confidentiality and permissions, family members can also access information to monitor their loved one’s progress.

What makes our Disability Support different?

Our Disability Support services are available for young people and adults with learning disabilities, including autism, epilepsy and other complex care needs. We work with family members, local authorities and Clinical Commissioning Groups to support our service users to live independently in the place they call home.

We’re committed to providing excellent quality services because we believe people relying on our services deserve the very best. That’s why we employ our own internal Quality Team to ensure our services are of the highest standards and exceed expected regulations. All our services are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure we’re providing the best possible support.

Our Care and Support Teams are at the heart of our established reputation and the reason we’re able to deliver such high quality services. They’re trained to go above and beyond when delivering person centred and dedicated support to people at home.

We have internal Recruitment Teams who carry out comprehensive pre employment checks on all new staff to match the character and experience of our employees with our core values.

Our exclusive Alina Homecare Academy provides thorough induction training so that all Team members can carry out their duties with sufficient knowledge and expertise. We also offer ongoing specialist training opportunities to allow for professional growth.

All our staff receive constant support from all Teams within the organisation, as well as benefitting from many other great perks. We care about the mental health and wellbeing of all our staff – that’s why we make sure every Team member has access to professional external 24/7 wellbeing support.
