Growing demand for companion care due to loneliness

Loneliness has been a huge challenge throughout the various Covid lockdowns and restrictions, which is why companion care has become even more essential for the elderly. With care home residents only allowed two visitors per person, care delivered to people in their own homes permits their carers to visit them as many times each day as needed. That’s why for some, elderly care at home is a great way to support elderly relatives in the comfort of their own homes with the ability to make their own choices about their daily life and care. Alina Homecare have established new branches to help with this demand.

Alina Homecare’s Brentwood Branch Manager, Deborah Cox said, “I started working in care after supporting a family member and seeing the difference good quality care can make. My team are proud of what they do and are passionate about supporting people with respect every day.”

Brentwood is the third branch to open in Essex, with others based in Maldon & Colchester. Alina Homecare offers a range of high quality care services to people living in their own homes including companionship and other regular types of care and support. It also provides care for family members needing respite, for people with specific health conditions such as dementia and for people requiring palliative care.

Operations Director, Justine said, “We are thrilled to be bringing the “Alina Homecare Difference” to residents in Brentwood. The team are eager to provide our renowned care to local people living in their own homes delivered with our core values: quality, integrity and respect.”

The branch is located on The Limes road in Ingatestone. Residents living in Brentwood, Billericay, Chelmsford, Chipping Ongar, Hornchurch, Ingatestone, Kelvedon Hatch, Shenfield, Stock & Upminster, can now access Alina Homecare’s full range of services.
